Where algae meets EDM.
Tidal Glow
Tidal Glow is an annual EDM festival set against one of nature's most extraordinary backdrops, the bioluminescent beaches of Vieques, Puerto Rico, where living algae cause the ocean to glow. The festival brings together music, nature, and community into an unforgettable experience rooted in environmental appreciation and ocean conservation, with a portion of every ticket going directly to The Ocean Conservancy.

Solution
The brand was built around the idea that connection, with people, with music, with the natural world, creates a life worth living. Drawing on the values already embedded in rave culture (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect), the visual and verbal identity leans into the glow: vibrant, fluid, and alive. It inspires people to live boldly and intentionally, treating the world's resources with the same care and respect they bring to their community.
Challenge
How do you build a world-class festival around a natural wonder without diminishing it? Tidal Glow's challenge was twofold: finding creative ways to let the environment speak through the festival experience, and rethinking the event from the ground up to reduce waste, since festivals are typically very wasteful and can create environmental harm.
