Orange you curious?
Solution
Carrotology was built around the idea that joy can be found in the seemingly simple parts of life, that slowing down to look closer at something can open up a whole world you never expected. The publication celebrates the carrot in all its eccentric, colorful, surprisingly rich glory, combining unknown history, debunked myths, and unusual uses into a book that is as fun to flip through as it is to read cover to cover. Proof that the most interesting things in life are sometimes hiding in plain sight.
Challenge
Carrots are everywhere, in grocery stores, on dinner plates, in every child's lunchbox, and yet nobody really knows anything about them. The challenge was taking something so familiar and so overlooked and showing people how they are genuinely fascinating. Carrotology needs to feel like a discovery, the kind of book that makes you stop, pick it up, and immediately want to share what you just learned with whoever is nearby.
Carrotology
Unearthing the Curious Life of Carrots
Carrotology is a coffee table publication dedicated to one of the most underestimated vegetables on Earth, the carrot. Equal parts history, mythology, and pure curiosity, the book uncovers the surprising stories behind a vegetable most people have never thought twice about. From its bitter origins in 10th-century Afghanistan to WWII propaganda and even flutes made from carved carrots, Carrotology proves that the most ordinary things are often the most extraordinary.
