Hand Me Downs: Life Lessons from an Older Sister is a series of small, portable books designed to give girls entering their teen years the kind of honest, caring advice that usually only comes from an older sister. Spanning three different books, the series covers the topics that matter most during high school: self-confidence, relationships, and finding your footing in the world.

Not every girl has an older sister, and even those who do don't always feel like they can ask for advice. There are plenty of advice books out there, but very few that actually speak to teenage girls in a way that feels real. The challenge was creating something that didn't feel like a book that was assigned to read, but one that teenage girls actually wanted to pick up.

Hand Me Downs was designed to feel like a meaningful conversation with an older sister. It’s small enough to carry around, personal enough to actually help. Each book tackles one topic at a time, keeping the advice focused and easy to digest. The series format was intentional, too, because good advice doesn't come all at once. It builds the same way a real sisterly relationship does.
